Sergio Garcia ha vinto il Gran Premio delle Americhe classe Moto2, terza tappa del Motomondiale 2024 disputata al COTA, Circuit of the Americas.
Al via il pilota del Team MT Helmets – MSI su Boscoscuro ha preso il comando sino alla bandiera a scacchi, con Joe Roberts che non ha mollato , portando la Kalex del Team OnlyFans American Racing a soli 0.492s dalla vittoria.
Sul terzo gradino del podio è salito Fermin Aldeguer, che dopo una partenza con qualche problema e un fase di gara dove ha combattuto perdendo terreno con il suo team-mate Alonso Lopez, ha tagliato il traguardo ad oltre tre secondi dalla vetta, proprio davanti al compagno di squadra.
